Using Word to create a Report

In this lesson, you will learn how to use Microsoft Word to write a report. Then you will create your own report about a job.

First, look at the example report below.

This report has four sections. 

The job report presents information in four sections. These are:

1. Job description
2. Skills needed
3. Qualifications needed
4. Salary and job opportunities

To create the report you will learn:

All the tools you have learned about, and all the skills you have are transferrable to other word processing programs. The working area may look a little different but the tools and short cuts are the same in most applications.

An online transaction is when you buy products or services using the internet.

Types of online transactions:

Making a purchase online

Transferring money to people

Transfer money between accounts

Paying bills online

 

Safe online shopping

If you buy from trusted retailers, shopping online is safe.

Safe refers to:

Receiving the product or service you purchased

Keeping your payment details (credit card, login details, etc ) private.

Payment methods

There are many payment systems, for example,

• Direct deposit
• Credit or debit card
• Third-party payment systems, such as PayPal.

The Australian governernment operates a digital training website called Be Connected. It has a 5 minute course which shows Ways to Pay for Goods Online.

PayPal offers extra security because you don’t give your personal banking details to each online shop. Instead, you pay PayPal, and PayPal then pays the seller.
