Module 5: Volunteering online

Volunteering with the VTS is multimodal; you may support a learner online, over the phone, outdoors, or in a public space. These arrangements are flexible – you and your learner might opt to do ‘blended’ learning through a mix of online and face-to-face interactions. The VTS always operates with adherence to restrictions as issued by the Victorian Department of Health, so even if you and your learner decide on library meetings, it is important to make a plan for how to deliver sessions remotely should it not be possible to meet in person.

Scroll down to the Volunteer Training Activities
Click on 'VTS Training - Training Feedback' to assign yourself up to the activity
Once assigned, you will be able to log your Training hours and complete the required feedback fields
On the 'Logging' Tab drop-down list - choose 'Hours'
Select 'VTS Training - Feedback' from the drop-down activity list
Log your total Training hours and answer the feedback questions

Obtain a National Police Check
Please log into your profile in My Impact Login
On the 'Opportunities' Tab drop-down list
Choose 'Opportunity List'
Scroll down to the Volunteer Training Activities
Click on 'VTS Training - Obtaining a National Police Check' to assign yourself up to the activity
Once assigned you will receive the Instructions to obtain your National Police Check through CrimCheck
* The National Police Check is covered by Melbourne AMEP *
A Certificate of Completion will be issued, after ALL training modules and required feedback fields have been completed.
