 you don't have to speak English like a native speaker

it's fine to have a different accent

but what is important is that you're able to speak clearly

it means that you do not prevent other people from understanding what you are trying to say

now we will learn a new sound /aɪ/ - this is a diphthong

A diphthong is the sound of two vowels pronounced together as one syllable by gliding quickly from the first vowel to the second.

When we glide quickly from /a/ to /ɪ/, we get an /aɪ/ sound (as in I, try or bye).

Standard English has eight diphthongs
